How long does ceramic coating last?
Our coatings are offered as 5-year and 9-year systems, both accredited and warranty-backed. Lifespan depends on how the vehicle is stored, driven and maintained — which is exactly why every coating includes a maintenance kit.
What's the difference between the 5-year and 9-year coating?
The 9-year system is a thicker, longer-life coating with a longer warranty term. It's only $200 more than the 5-year, which is why most customers choose it.
Does ceramic coating stop scratches?
No. Ceramic coating is not scratch-proof and won't prevent stone chips. What it does is add a durable, hydrophobic layer that resists UV, contamination and staining, and makes the vehicle far easier to keep clean.
Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating?
In most cases yes. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so we correct swirls, haze and defects first so the finish you seal in is the best the paint can look.
How long will my vehicle need to stay at the workshop?
It depends on the condition of the paint and the level of correction required. We confirm the exact timeframe with you when we quote — typically a couple of days for a full correction and coating.
How do I maintain my ceramic coating?
Regular pH-neutral washing and a periodic top-up product. We walk you through the process at handover and send you home with the products to do it.
What is included in the free maintenance kit?
A pH-neutral wash, a ceramic detail spray, premium microfibre towels, applicators and a simple care guide — everything needed to maintain the coating properly.
Do you offer ceramic coating for new cars?
Absolutely. New vehicles are the ideal candidates — minimal correction is required and the paint is protected from day one.
Can I text photos of my vehicle for a quote?
Yes, and it's the fastest way to get an accurate answer. Text photos of your paint and we'll come back with a recommendation.
